The Education and Labor Market Administration is responsible for employment-promoting measures, integration issues, and education at the upper secondary and post-secondary levels. Here we create conditions for lifelong learning and opportunities for individuals to develop, study, and achieve self-sufficiency. Peder Skrivare High School (PS) offers several national high school programs that can be combined with developing education in sports, Young Entrepreneurship, Teknikcollege, or Health and Care College. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to the development department at Campus Varberg, where we work on development projects at a local, regional, and international level. One of our missions is to drive Techarena Varberg. We are now looking for a Community Manager with strong communication skills and natural leadership. You are a person who enjoys being at the center of events, taking ownership of projects, and creating energy in meetings with others.

Techarena Varberg is an open arena and meeting place at Campus Varberg where business, public sector, and academia meet with our students to share knowledge, create relationships, and drive development. The arena is a motor for innovation, skills supply, and lifelong learning in Halland.

As a Community Manager, you will work in a prominent and independent role with significant responsibility. You will lead and coordinate projects, be responsible for communication, and be the one who holds everything together, from idea to implementation. The role requires you to be brave, structured, and confident in leading yourself, while also having the ability to engage others through enthusiasm and clear communication.

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Project management and events
• Lead and implement events and activities at Techarena Varberg.
• Lead Halland Tech Week, Halland's largest tech event. You will be the overall project manager and coordinate collaboration between the municipalities in the region, as well as plan and execute the day in Varberg.
• Be responsible for recurring community meetings
• Be a host and visible leader at open days and events.
• Coordinate collaborations with businesses, educational institutions, and external actors.
• Communication
• Be responsible for Techarena Varberg's communication in relevant channels.
• Communicate events, activities, and results in an engaging and professional manner.
• Conduct and communicate study visits, including writing articles and posts.
• Community and collaboration
• Develop and strengthen the tech community consisting of students, businesses, academia, and the public sector
• Be a cohesive link between Campus Varberg, business, and regional initiatives
• Contribute to the development of educational programs through activities and collaboration at the arena

QUALIFICATIONS

• A structured project manager who makes things happen.
• Have previous experience and interest in technology, IT, innovation, education, and learning

You have relevant education from a university or vocational school and are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and we would like you to have:

• Experience in leading and implementing events or community-driven initiatives.
• Experience in creating engaging communication in digital channels.
• Experience working in triple helix collaboration (academia, business, public sector).
• Experience working in or closely related to the business sector
